Securing Your Pet Sitting Dates

At Little Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Services, all pet sitting bookings require a £50 non-refundable booking deposit.

This deposit secures your dates in our diary and allows us to reserve that time exclusively for your pets. Once a booking is confirmed, we often decline other enquiries for the same dates, meaning we are unable to offer those spaces to other customers.

For this reason, the £50 booking deposit is non-refundable.

Why Do We Charge a Deposit?

Pet sitting is different from many other services. When you book a pet sit, we commit our time to your pets and reserve those dates well in advance. In many cases, bookings are made months or even years ahead.

The deposit helps us:

• Secure your chosen dates
• Protect our diary from last-minute cancellations
• Ensure fairness for all customers wishing to book
• Continue providing a reliable and professional service
• Manage the high demand for our pet sitting services

When Is My Booking Confirmed?

Your pet sitting booking is not confirmed until the £50 deposit has been received.

Unfortunately, we cannot hold dates without a deposit, as demand for our pet sitting services is extremely high throughout the year.

Once your deposit has been paid, your dates will be reserved and confirmed.

What Happens If You Need to Cancel?

The £50 booking deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

In addition, the following cancellation charges may apply:

• Within 7 days of the pet sit start date: 100% of the remaining balance is payable
• Within 14 days of the pet sit start date: 75% of the remaining balance is payable
• Within 21 days of the pet sit start date: 50% of the remaining balance is payable
• Within 1 month of the pet sit start date: 25% of the remaining balance is payable

These charges reflect the fact that it is often difficult to refill pet sitting dates at short notice and cancelled bookings can result in a significant loss of income for a small business.

Planning Ahead

Our pet sitting diary is often booked many months in advance, with peak periods such as school holidays, summer months and Christmas filling particularly quickly.

We recommend securing your dates as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
